Thankful. Grateful. Blessed. Our 2025 Thanksgiving Feast.

Three simple words, written in frosting across a giant cookie cake, sat at the center of Woodmont Cabinetry’s Thanksgiving potluck this year: Thankful. Grateful. Blessed. Familiar words, yes, but in that moment, they felt deeply earned.

Homemade dishes filled the tables; there were comfort foods, family recipes, and a cornucopia of desserts. Before the meal began, the team paused for prayer. In a busy season, that pause mattered. It reflected something foundational about who we are as a company: our belief that our work is not separate from our faith, and that gratitude begins by acknowledging God’s provision. The opportunity to gather, to work, to build, and to serve customers is not something we take lightly; it is something we are thankful for every day.

That moment of prayer, followed by shared food and fellowship, was a living expression of Woodmont’s core values—values that were thoughtfully defined, refined, and brought to life throughout 2025. This past year marked a major effort to put those values front and center: displayed on ID badges, woven into the walls of the lunchroom, and reflected clearly on our new website. They were not created to be aspirational slogans, but practical guideposts for how we show up every day.

Faith in Action. Integrity ingrained in the way we work. Respect for people and pride in craftsmanship. These values are not confined to meetings or messaging—they are lived in moments like this one. In the way the team pauses together. In how people care for one another. In the culture that allows space for prayer, gratitude, and genuine connection.

The words on the cookie captured it perfectly.

Thankful. For steady work, meaningful projects, and customers who trust Woodmont to be part of their homes and livelihoods. For skilled hands, committed teams, and leaders who understand that people come before process.

Grateful. For the individuals who make Woodmont what it is. For long-tenured team members whose experience and consistency anchor the company, and for newer employees who bring fresh perspective and energy. For a workplace where values are not just stated but expected and supported.

Blessed. By God’s continued provision, guidance, and grace. By the ability to pause in the middle of full schedules and demanding workloads to recognize how much there truly is to appreciate. By community, fellowship, and shared purpose.

Moments like this Thanksgiving potluck don’t show up on spreadsheets or production reports, but they matter. They are where culture takes root. They are where values move from words to actions. They remind us why we do what we do, and who we do it with.

As the cookie cake was finally cut and plates were cleared, those three words lingered, not just as decoration, but as a reflection of Woodmont Cabinetry itself. Thankful. Grateful. Blessed. And yes—the cookie really was delicious!
