Customer Spotlight: Intown Design, Inc.

In the kitchen, some things simply belong together – steak and potatoes, apple pie and vanilla ice cream, and of course, countertops and cabinetry. For a perfect pairing, each element has to be perfectly executed on its own. This is especially true for countertops and cabinetry, two very different, yet highly complementary products. It was in this spirit that we became partners with Intown Design, a full-service countertop company looking to add cabinetry to their repertoire.

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Intown Design is led by owner Don Zahnle, who has sixteen years of experience in the countertop market. Intown Design expanded their focus and entered the cabinetry industry four years ago. As Joe Coulson, Vice President of Cabinetry, says: “One of our greatest accomplishments was starting our cabinetry business. This meant integrating two products that require suppliers that typically do not operate well together under one company. By carefully choosing suppliers like Woodmont Cabinetry, we were able to succeed.”

Intown Design and Woodmont Cabinetry began their partnership in 2016. In need of a secondary supplier, Intown Design found Woodmont Cabinetry. Impressed by our communication and service standards, they switched to working Woodmont as an exclusive supplier. As Joe Coulson says: “Woodmont Cabinetry had many things we didn’t even know we needed. They made my job easier with all of the finish, SKU, and customization options available. It was a no-brainer to swap all of our business to them.”

When it comes to cabinetry, they stick closer to home, sourcing from our company which proudly upholds a “Made in America” promise.
