Celebrating Our Tenure Tradition with Four “20 Year Club” Inductees

Every year, the Woodmont Cabinetry team looks forward to a number of workplace traditions. One of our favorites is our annual Tenure Recognition reception. Each year, we celebrate our blessings as a tight-knit company and honor our most dedicated employees with a cake and punch reception. We know that we wouldn’t be where we are today without such remarkably dedicated employees, and we’re happy to host this special event for them.

This year, hundreds of exceptional employees from our Dallas and Cedar Hill locations qualified for tenure certificates. And, we’re extremely proud of the fact that nearly 40% of our workforce has been employed with Woodmont Cabinetry for five years or longer. At our tenure reception, five-year employees receive an individual employee photo with the management team, a professionally printed certificate, and a Woodmont t-shirt. Employees of even longer stature receive collared shirts displaying 10 and 15 Years of Service.

Most remarkable are our co-workers who have spent 20 years or more with us. This year, we inducted 4 more individuals into Woodmont Cabinetry’s 20-Year Club. Roger Evans, Jonathan Perkins, Esperanza Robles, and Maria Salinas began working at Woodmont in 1998, and they’ve stayed with our team ever since. We’re so very thankful for their commitment to our company. In addition to a photo and a certificate, they received a collared Woodmont shirt with “20 Years of Service” and their name embroidered on it. They also enjoyed a paid half-day spent at a Ranger’s game with the Tidwell family, senior management, and the entire 20-Year Club. What better way to celebrate our most dedicated employees than with the most tried and true American tradition?

2018 Woodmont Cabinetry 20 Year Club Honorees

Once an employee is inducted into the 20-Year Club, he or she is recognized annually. And, with every additional five years, our 20-Year Club members also receive a plaque marking 25 years of service, 30 years of service, and so on.

The way we see it, our employees have devoted years of their lives to working for our company, and they are part of our extended family. Traditions like our tenure reception, the 20-Year Club ball game, holiday baskets, scholarship funds, and even our in-house ministry service reflect our commitment to ensuring that just as our employees give of themselves, Woodmont Cabinetry also gives to them.
