As Woodmont Cabinetry celebrates its 65th anniversary and continues to grow, we’re thankful for our rich history and the many people who have helped propel our company forward. As such, we’d like to express our gratitude to one of our long-term partners, Swartz Kitchens and Baths.

Like Woodmont Cabinetry, Swartz Kitchens and Baths is a family-owned and operated company. Three generations strong, Swartz recently celebrated its 85th anniversary. As its name implies, Swartz Kitchens and Baths is focused solely on kitchens and bathrooms. In their four showrooms throughout central and eastern Pennsylvania, highly skilled designers walk customers through the entire process, from initial concept to final installation. As president of the company Scott Swartz says, “We are 100% customer-centric.”

While Swartz provides services to all types of clients, they primarily work with home builders, remodeling contractors, commercial contractors, and property managers. Their customer base is reflective of one of Swartz’s greatest accomplishments: surviving the recession by focusing on the business’s core strengths. As Swartz explains, “We re-evaluated our company model as ‘all-things-to-all-people’ and narrowed our target market to the trade buyer, marketing ourselves as a true trade partner. This led us down the path to becoming a much stronger company.”

Swartz Kitchens and Baths began working with Woodmont Cabinetry in 1995. After Scott Swartz flew to Dallas and met with Stan Tidwell for a tour of the manufacturing plant, he was sold. As Swartz says, “We were extremely impressed by the experience, so much so that when we came back to Harrisburg, we submitted purchase orders for several tractors of cabinetry inventory.”

For Swartz, the best part of working with Woodmont goes beyond our high-quality cabinetry. As he says, “We’ve taken the relationship our teams developed from a professional level to a personal level. Our entire staff works very well with the Woodmont staff, and over our 23-year history, both of our companies have grown hand-in-hand.”

With growth comes the ability to give back, and together, Woodmont and Swartz have provided charitable contributions to a number of organizations, including Hope House, a women’s shelter. “The Woodmont team lives by their motto, ‘Integrity Ingrained,’” Swartz says. “Without a doubt, those two words describe Stanley Tidwell, his family, and the Woodmont culture.”

One of our greatest joys is the ability to work with companies that share our core values. Like Woodmont, Swartz Kitchens and Baths is deeply devoted to customer service, honesty, teamwork, and employee well-being. Just as Swartz’s kitchens and baths are “Designed for Life!”, we look forward to seeing our strong partnership continue to develop for decades to come.
