When you work in manufacturing, there’s a lot that can go wrong. That’s where Jose comes in! As our dedicated Maintenance Engineer Manager, he has spent the past three decades ensuring that Woodmont Cabinetry’s facilities continue to run smoothly, no matter the circumstances. Whether he’s repairing one of our many machines, building ventilation, wiring, or plumbing, Jose can fix almost anything! If he doesn’t know how to solve a problem, he always finds someone who can. That goes hand in hand with the advice Jose gives to new employees: “It’s important to know what you’re good at so that when you come to work, you can help others to the best of your ability.”

Jose enjoys the fact that his work spans so many different departments. “I always feel accomplished when I can help people in other departments do their job,” he says. Whatever goes wrong, Jose remains flexible, takes it all in stride, and gives the position his all every day. He does it all with the support of his colleagues at work and his family at home: his wife of 30 years, two daughters, and a son.

Fun fact: One of Jose’s proudest moments is seeing his daughter, who now lives in Houston, graduate from college at the top of her class.
